Welcome to the Website of the
Worshipful Company of Turners of London

The Worshipful Company of Turners is a Livery Company of the City of London.  Like most of the 108 City Livery Companies, the Turners sprang from the medieval craft guilds.
Although there was a Guild of Turners in 1295, the Royal Charter was not granted by King James I until 1604.

The awards made as a result of the 2009 Bursary Competition are announced on the Bursary page

The next Wizardry in Wood Exhibition will take place in Carpenters' Hall, London in 2012.

The details of the 2010 Turners' Company Competitions are revealed through this link to the Craft Activities pages
